		<description>Venkatesh, depending on the period of the cycle you can add or remove kanban through out the year, if you have an annual seasonal cycle. If by &#039;cyclical&#039; you mean month end or quarter end then you can add buffer stock or add/subtract kanban.  More erratic demand should be accommodated by the safety stock (and the demand standard deviation).</description>
